We have fewer gifts to purchase and notes to write than originally thought. Thank you notes will be written to Heather Jarrett of Brighton Academy for including MPE seniors in Brighton's movie night and roller skating party, to Mei Upsdell for copying graduation programs, and to JCCC for meeting space. Gift cards will be purchased for Todd Kangas, MPE president; Jr. class coordinators; Darren and Brenda Cacy, Sr. class coordinators and Master of Ceremonies; Lacey Martin, pianist of the majority of the ceremony, Sound man Joel Speck of College Church, and the College Church facility coordinator Dennis Vaverka. In past graduations there were more musicians to thank. The committee divided up purchasing gift cards. We will bring them to rehearsal and Stacey will wrap them decoratively with a note of appreciation and blessing. We will distribute the gifts at rehearsal. We will bring receipts to rehearsal for reimbursement. If your suggesting that we shouldn't have dancing, then why have a father-daughter/mother-son dance? I most likely will be coming to this stag and I don't think most of the other grads will be bringing their parents so it would be kinda awkward for those of us who don't have a parent to dance with.
